Whatever the season, there is always something to see and do on Lake Kitchawan. Photos by lake residents document our most popular activities like seasonal fishing, boating and swimming, socializing around the lake with planned and impromptu neighbor get-togethers from music-added-picnics to ice fishing and skating in winter. Year-round, residents can observe the wildlife that frequents our lake and can enjoy beautiful natural views over the water.

NATURE ON THE LAKE...
Abundant bird life on the lake makes birdwatchers of us all. Hawks and the occasional eagle circle above while herons, swans, Mallard ducks and Canada geese are seen on and above the water. Turtles make the journey from lake to land to hide their eggs each spring while noisy peepers and croaking frogs contribute to a symphony of sound.
