The lake and lagoons

Our lake is a very special place; it consists of 106 acres.... in addition to its being a tributary of the Croton Reservoir, a source of drinking water for the NYC area, is one of 25 areas the NY State DEC has declared part of the Eastern Biotic Corridor, where bio diversity is actually flourishing.  But it takes constant vigilance and care to keep our lake free of the invasive weeds that threaten lakes across the country and to maintain the balance necessary for marine life. To do this, we employ a lake management/treatment company and, as of 2022, a limnology firm.
